Couples Therapy

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) I am educated and trained specifically to support couples as they navigate challenges ranging from an inability to communicate effectively, challenges around finances, family, as well as infidelity, betrayal, and reestablishing trust and safety in the relationship.

No matter where we start, with commitment and effort we can work toward a healthy relationship that includes being able to say the hard things without fear and share our whole selves.

Additionally, I specialize in supporting South Asian and mixed race/minority couples. As a South Asian American myself, I’m intimately familiar with some of the cultural considerations and complex dynamics that this adds. I became a therapist to create representation and a space where you don’t have to explain yourself and where your values are prioritized.

Here are some common dynamics that I have experience working with:

  • ADHD and other diagnoses for one or both partners
  • South Asian family dynamics
  • Mixed-race/multi-cultural families
  • Sexual minorities including polyamory and LGBTQ+ community members
  • Alcohol and substance abuse
  • Infertility

Individual Therapy

Life can feel overwhelming, especially when stress, constant information, and the pressure to keep going leave little room to breathe. In therapy, I draw from EMDR, CBT, narrative therapy, Internal Family Systems, and neuropsychology to create an approach that fits your needs and supports lasting change.

Individual therapy is empowering, dynamic, and tailored to you. It creates space to face emotions, find your voice, and understand yourself deeply. Because change looks different for everyone, we’ll define your goals together and use the approaches that best support your growth, whether you’re navigating grief, trauma, recovery, identity, or other personal challenges.

Sex Therapy

Did you know that our research shows the most significant predictor of relationship satisfaction is sexual communication?

That’s where sex therapy comes in: learning how to talk about what we want and creating a robust and intimate relationship with our partners. Whether it’s mismatched libidos, sexual functioning, botched start-ups that lead one of us to feel rejected, or simply a desire to feel more deeply connected, let’s have the hard conversation.

This can be a daunting topic for many; having an experienced, licensed therapist makes this approachable and unique. In sex therapy we cover misconceptions, learn new ways to engage, and most importantly, we learn how to talk about the things we want and don’t want in a safe and measured way.
